SYDNEY. February 6.

The Seamen's Union at' Sydney today unanimously decided to end the strike on" the Howard Smith interstate liner Canberra and the company will now proceed with a free selection

of a crew.

Restoration of the service will probably take place next Tuesday.

The Canberra was laid up by the company when the Seamen's Union insisted on offering for a vacancy in the stokehold a firemen who had already been refused employment in the ship in Brisbane.
