LEADER OUTLINES PLANS
MELBOURNE, February 6. The leader of the Labour Party, Mr. J. Tunnecliffe, in a policy speech tonight, promised the abolition of the dole, full-time employment on a basic wage to all citizens willing to work.
Labour would also give attention to the slum abolition, the unification of railway gauges, restoration of service salaries, the provision of a permanent solution of unemployment, and restoration to the Crown .of the sole right of creation and issue of financial credit.
