FILLIES IN GOOD FORM
Grace McElwyn has been racing consistently in her recent efforts, and this three-year-old daughter of Jack Potts will command a.lot of attention off the.'front of the February and Eastbourne Handicaps at the Wellington Trota on Saturday. The only time in eight starts this season in which she failed to finish in the money was at Reefton kbt month, and she then had to concede up to 48yds to most of her field. Since the Reefton Meeting she has trained on well at Addington. There is, however, another solid sort In these two > races in Midshipmaid, and it is in her favour that she has won all her laces on grass tracks. She is a four-yeav-old daughter of Man o' War, and she ran second in her final start at Forbury Park last week. She may find it difficult to concede 36yds to Grace McElwyn, but if the latter earns a penalty' in the 'earlier race her chance may come in th/» tjwrter event later on in the day.
