MONEY FOR A LOCAL' BRANCH
" Captain'W.H.- Davey, 0.8. E., who left New Zealand for Australia by the Makura, supervises the overseas work of the Church Army. He has been visiting NewZealand in connection with the proposal to establish the Church; Army on a permanent basis in the; Dominion, as well as'to-'visit* the'members of the column, now on their three years' mission cam-paign-in. the Dominion.

Captain Davey was pleased with th« caravan at work in the Canterbury .North district, saying that it. was better thaa any .of,.the Church Army fleet of 66 in England, and a credit tp the builders.
