Treasury", returns show that the total ordinary -revenue for.'the financial year up to February 2 amounted to £537,758,359, as compared'with £548,224,122 for the corresponding^ period of last year. Including self-balancing revenue, the figures are £612,073,359 and £619,876,122 respectively. Income tax collected last week amounted to £19.239,000, bringing the total to date to £.141,437,000, as against £138,083,000 at the corresponding date last year. The total ordinary expenditure up to Jast Saturday was £597,641,765, as compared with;: £585,110,386 on February 3, 1934. With-self-balancing expenditure the total for the current year is £671,950,765, egainst £660,066,676 last year.
