LOWER HUTT RATES
The Lower. Hutt Borough Council is having a busy, time receiving payment of rates prior to tho imposition .of the 10 per cent, penalty. Tomorrow, Fobruary 1, is the last day on which rates aro receivable without the penalty. Yesterday the cash received amounted to £2,133 6s 4d.
