ODDFELLOWS' PICNIC
The thirteenth annual picnic of city and suburban 1.0.0.R, N.Z.^lodges was held on Anniversary Day at JiaroniarK, a large number of member?, friends, and children attending: The^ organismg + eommitteo comprised Bro.. B. «,. _I^her s, D.D.G.M., Sister M. Sergent, L.D.D.&.M-, Sisters A. Parry and D. Keinpton, Bros. A. Evans, E: J. Lee, E. D. Walks, and W. H, Munro. . • 4n extensive programme of sports events for children and adults was conducted, Bros. Mathers and Lee acting as handicappers, 'Bros. Evans and H. J. Darkms as judges, Bro.' B. Churchill as starter, and Bro. A. J. Holding as announcer. The principal events were as follows:— Treasure hunt, J-. Milsbm; junior branch, lodge handicap, E. Sergent 1 ; F. Sergent 2; Rebekah sisters, 75 yards handicap, I. P. Bowering 1, M. Smith 2; subordinate lodges' championship cup, 0. G. Olsen; Kebekah lodges championship cup, I. Clarke; subordinate lodges' relay baton, Wildey Lodge; Eebekah lodges', relay baton, Victoria Lodge: subordinate lodges' tug-of-.war shield, Wildey Lodge; Eebekah lodges? tug-of-war shield, Eahiri Lodge,
