ASSOCIATION MEETS The subject of water supply,for picnicker* at Titahi beach was dealt with in tiie report to the annual meeting of the Titahi Bay Progressive Association on' Saturday night. The erection 0fa.2000-gallon tank on the beach to supply spring water was appreciated in the report, which staled that the amount of water could easily lie doubled at small cost. It had been a valuable asset. The reticulation of the water north and south along the beach was also mentioned. ' Fencing an area of land fronting the beach, as had been proposed, had been carried out by the Makara County1 Council, the association providing the material, and about 300 plants had been put in, the veport recorded. The membership of the association wni 33, compared with 46 the previous* year, but an increase was anticipated this year. The accumulated funds totalled nearly £36. It was suggested that ■ unless owners maintained their boat sheds in order, the County Council should deprive them of the ■ Motions of Confidence .in- Mr.' .R. W.
