BARRITT—KINNIBURGH. The wedding took place recently- at the Wesley Church, Taranaki Street, of Jeanette, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Kinniburgh, Wellington, to Albert, eldest son of' Mr. and Mts. T. Barritt, also of Wellington. Tho bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a graceful gown of Limerick lace. The bodice had a cowl neck and long tight-fitting sleeves, and the skirt formed a square train. A lovely veil, which foil in soft folds, was held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms. A diamond brooch, the gift of the bride's uncle (Mr. Percy Marks, Sydney) and a shower bouquet of roses, • carnations, and maidenhair fern, completed a charming picture. There were three bridesmaids, Miss Gwen Cole, Miss Marie Strange-Murc, and Miss Coralie Cane. Their trained dresses were palest pink satin; slim fitting, and the bodice had georgette roses to form a yoke. Dainty silver ribbon formed caps with graduated georgette roses resting on the hair. They each wore jewelled platin-

ette necklets, the gift of the bridegroom. Their arm showers- of blue delphiniums' completed a graceful ensemble. Mr. G. Warwick was best man, and Mr. R. J. Kiriniburgh and Mr. H. Strange-Muro were ushers. The Rev. T. E. Richards ■ officiated, and Mr. Temple White presided at the . organ. During the signing of the register a solo was sung by Mrs. N. Duncan. A reception was held, over- _ 100 guests being present. Mrs. Kinniburgh, tho bride's mother, was in blue angel-skin lace and a picture hat to match. She carried a bouquet to tone. Mrs. Barritt, the bridegroom's mother, was in a smart frock of henna marocain. She carried a posy of autumntinted flowers. Tho evening was spent in dancing and singing, Mrs. Duncan contributing several solos. Later Mr; and Mrs. A. Barritt left for Kotorua and Waitomo Caves. The bride travelled in a smart suit and hat to .match.
