BODY IN WATER
UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN Information is sought by the police, as to the identity of the body of a woman which was found.on the Oriental Bay beach yesterday morning at about 5.30 o'clock. She was an elderly woman, probably about GO years old, sft in height, and of frail build. Her dark hair was going grey, and she had grey eyes. There were no teeth. She wore a wedding ring, and the first finger -of her right hand was' missing. She. was wearing a black overcoat, a red frock and blouse, and black shoes. The discovery was made by a man who was taking an early morning stroll. The tide was rising, and the body appeared to have been in the water only a few hours. •
