CAR LEAVES ROAD (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MARTON, This Day. A car driven by ■ Mr. J. Kaye, of Wanganui, who was accompanied by his wife, got out of control and swerved off tho metalled road south of Makirikiri, and rolled over and finished its career upside down, hanging partly over a gorse hedge, considerably • damaged. Mrs. Kaye sustained cuts and bruises and is suffering from shock. She was removed to tho hospital at Marton, and her condition this morning is not serious. The occupants had a truly marvellous escape from death.
