' Cases in' the Magistrate's Court today were dealt-with by Mr. E. Page. S.M.- ■ . For ' a sixth statutory effence of drunkenness 'William Herbert Vincent, aged 55, a labourer, was fined £3, in-de-fault ]4 days' imprisonment.. A sentence of one mouth's imprisonment was imposed tipo'n George Gardiner, aged 5<K a canvasser, who pleaded guilty to having been ■ found without lawful excuse in St. Mark's 'Cliurch grounds.- It was stated by the pojiee that he was a methylated spirits addict with a long'list of convictions since 1004.
