In the Magistrate's Court, before Mr. -J. 'Miller,, S.M., Herbert Gunton, a restaurant proprietor, was proceeded against by Mr. I\ W. Ashby, Inspector of Awards, for failure to pay a waitress not less than tho minimum rate Of pay. She had been underpaid 7s 6d a week for a period of nine weeks.
