EVENTUAL AGEEEMENT

PRESIDENT'S STATEMENT

WASHINGTON, December 15.

President Roosevelt today, expressed the belief that an agreement on war debts would eventually be reached with the various countries now unable to continue payment.

The President declined to say on what his hope for a settlement was based, but said that he most certainly did expect eventual agreement.
