ANOTHER LEAGUE CRISIS
ARBITRATION REFUSED

Abyssinia has drawn the League of Nations' attention to the frontier incidents last week when a clash occurred between Italian and Abyssinian troops. The Abyssinian Kote alleged Italian aggression.

GENEVA, December 15.
The Abyssinian Note to the League complains that the Italian force on November 23 prevented1 the AngloAbyssinian Mission from marking pasture lands at Ualual, 100 kilometres within the frontier. Italian tanks and aeroplanes, without provocation, attacked the Cooraiißion's escort on December 5 and Italian aeroplanes bombed Adoa and Gerlogubi on December 9. ,■ '■'■
The Italian Charges d' Affaires disregarded the Abyssinian protest, irefused to refer the matter to arbitration, and demanded the payment of an indemnity.
