TEA TRADER'S BREAKDOWN

Recent advice from America states that the brilliant sprinter Tea Trader has suffered another breakdown, and that hopes of again getting him into racing trim are not regarded as very bright. Tea Trader was a good performer while trained in the Dominion as a two- and three-year-old, and he displayed a lot of his brilliancy when raced in America by Jfr. D. J. Davis, who purchased him to accompany Pillow Fight to that country. The latter failed to-win a race, but Tea Trader compensated his owner by annexing five events. Tea Trader, who is by Tea Tray—Epitaph, will in due course go (.o tlie stud in America.
