New South Wales irr the first innings made 102 (H. Prltchard 27. R. Monaghah 25, F. Blnde 17 cot out), The remainder did not reach double figures. M. Spear took four wicketa tor 10. New South Wales followed on and in the second, innings made 175 for seven wickets and then, declared (R. Monaghan 45 H. Pritchard 75). M. Hide took three wickets for 22: England in the second innings made 57 for three/wicket* and won by seven wickets. . ' j . . Commenting on the women's cricket match, the ''Sun's" cricket writer, A. G. Moyes, pnys s tribute to the English players He says they play, real cricket worth going a long way to' see. Even the field ing is of expert character. Mr. Moyw praised Miss Pritchard's fine 75: runs in 130 minutes. Her on-side glancing shots and cover drives were all beautifully timed.
