BIG BOOT CONTRACT

(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post") DUNEDIN, This Day

Against competition from all parts of New Zealand a local firm has obtained' the contract for the supply of 1500 pairs of officers' boots. This is the second big Defence Department contract obtained by the firm, the previous one being for 13,500 pairs of boots for the rank and file. The contract will provide employment for Dunedin bootmakers and will keep the firm's factory busy for some time.
