SOCIAL AFTERNOON
The provisional ladies' auxSliary ■of the Hutt Valley T.M.C.A. held a social afternoon in tho hall at Petone on Thursday. Mrs. H. W. Kersley presided over a large gathering, and asked for the cooperation of the ladies in the formation, of a ladies' auxiliary.
Afternoon tea was. served by the ladies'' committee, after which Mr. B. M. Brasted, national secretary of the New Zealand V.M.C.A., spoko of the work done by the movement in the Dominion. During the .afternoon a programme was contributed by Mcsdames Millward, Willis, and E. S. Carey, and Misses Finlay, Bennie, and J. Lewis. i
