A TITLED FLOWER GIRL

A titled widow, who. for years was a flower'girl, has again become a bride. Griselda Winifred Lady Cotter, lately was married at the British Vice-Con-sulate .at Palma, 'Majorica, 'to Mr. Ernest Solargel, a German engineer," states an exchange. She is the widow of the late Sir James Lawrence Cotter, who died in 1924 in the course of their honeymoon. Following her loss, she forsook the social round, and for years worked hard at growing flowers.

Every Saturday Lady Cotter travelled from the picturesquo Cornish village of Polperro, where . she had settled, to Plymouth, and sold her flowers in the market place. "Even soiling flowers in a market brings its thrilling' moments," she once said. "Since I have been coming to Plymouth I 'have had two proposals of marriage from customers." ;
