.Having been sold by Mr. N.'G, Parker to a> Wellington yachtsman, Mr. Grafton Bothamley, a member of Tthe Port Nicholson Club,' the well-known auxili< ary yacht Queen . Charlotte will; be changing her quarters this week, when she will-leave tho Sounds to make Wellington her future home port, says the "Marlbbrough Express." The .Queen Charlotte, which was built at Picton to Mr. Parker's order -from, a design he brought back from America some, eight years ago, is a roomy and ■handsomelyappointed vessel, and will be missed by Sounds residents and holiday-makers, although no doubt she will,be seen at intervals cruising under,her new owner ?s pennant. It is understood ' that-Mr. Bothamley and a crew will' sail the Queen Charlotte across: Cook Strait dur-" ing the weekend. With virtually a Marl- : bpToiigh crew 'of amatenrs, the yacht (was to have competed in'the Tasman I yacht race under the mastership of Captain Watehlin, but thesale^of the' boat will now no doubt result in her withdrawal.- -'- ' ' .■ ' '■.''■' ;
