GOLDEN BAY CEMENT
LOSS THROUGH LACK. OF "- ORDERS
The directors of Golden Bay Cenient Company, Ltd., state in their report and accounts for the year ended June 30 last that the loss for the year . amounts- to £2833 2s, which, -. together with the loss in profit and loss account brought forward from,.last year, £869 15s 7d, makes a total of £3702 17s 7d standing to the debit of profit and loss account. The works were dosed down on a number of occasions during the year owing to lack of oulers, and ,'tjie effect •of reduced manufacturing operations has been reflected in increased coats.
The directors, however, are pleased to report that there is a..W considerable improvement in the building trade compared with two years ago and the demand for.cement is improving
Sir. O. W. Salmon, retiring shareholders' director, and Mr. J. 8. Maea'rthur,' retiring debenture holders' director, offer themselves for re-election. Mr P. E. Pattrick, 'retjring auditor, also oilers himself for re-election. ,
