GAMING HOUSE CHARGE
ARREST AT DUNEDIN

At the Magistrate'*1 Court this afternoon before Mr. Bundle, S.M., James Pearson was charged with keeping a common gaming house at Opoho. Asking for a remand Chief Detective Young said that accused had been arrested at his house and he desired a remand in order to place all the facts before the Court. A remand1 was granted until Monday, bail being allowed in accused's own surety of ,£SO.
William Prince was charged at a later sitting of the Court with keeping a common gaming house. 'Accused pleaded not guilty. Chief Detective Young said that accused 'had jnst been arrested and he asked for a remand for a week. A remand was granted until November 16, bail being allowed in accused's own recognisance of "£SO.
