SKIING ACCIDENT

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. ■ Wilfred-Burnett Myhre, aged 27, a member of the Christchurch Ski Club, struck a rock through falling in a soft patch. of, snow while, skiing at Temple Basin, Arthur 'a Pass, yesterday, and suffered slight concussion, head injuries, and abrasions.., ■ ■-■; The greatest difficulty lay in getting the injured man' from' the skiing ground's to the station. This task occupied four hours, tho country being rought and mountainous. An excursion train was' delayed eighty minutes to await the arrival of the rescue party. Myhre was, taken to the Christchurch Hospital. His condition is now satisfactory. " '" '' : ' ■ .
