The Presbyterian Church, Island Bay, was prettily decorated with.lilies aud 'spring bulbs for the wedding,. which 'look place recently, of Thelnia Jean, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. L. W. The largo.puff sleeves were gathered at the elbow to a tight-fitting- puff. Her embroidered tulle veil was arranged with a ■.-coronet of orange blossom,'ahd'sh'e. carried a bouquet of .white blooms. .. The 'bridesmaids, 'Misses Grace Howard (sister of tlio bride) and Elsie McLean (Dunedin), woro frocks of Lido-..blue satin, made alike, close-fitting to thewaist'and forming a slight train.1. They;-woro shallow .crowned huts of lemon taffeta trimmed with blue velvet ribbon, and carried bouquets of 16mon blossoms.-

On leaving the church} the bride was presented with a hicky. horseshoe by Mrs. Kilminster, Island Bay.

Mr.' T; Jackson (Dunedin) was. best man and Mr. Wynn Billings, (Wellington) was groomsman. ' A reception and dance was held at the Eitz," Manners Street.
