BILLIARDS

The various games of the second round of the Wellington City and Suburban Billiard and Snooker League were contested in each suburb last night, results being as follows: —Paramount 10 beat Island Bay 2; St. George 10 beat Victory 2; Queen's 9 beat City 3; Miramar. a bye.

The third round will open next Tuesday night, November 6, when the following teams will meet, home teams being mentioned first:—Paramount v. Queen's: City v. St. George; Victory v. Miramar; Island Bay, a bye.

Tonight at the Paramount Room a further game of the Wellington open handicap tournament will be decided. G, Dyhrberg will meet J. McMillan, Dyhrberg conceding 170 in 675 tip.
