FLIGHT TO AMERICA

HONOLULU, October 26.

Mr. John Stannage, Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's business manager, arrived by the Aorangi for tho purpose of checking the Wheeler Field and also fuel arrangements. He says that Sir Charles plans to fly very high when ncaring Hawaii in the hope of finding a tail wind. Tho surface trades are blowing against him,this season, but the Navy aerographer at Pearl Harbour says that there is a good chance of a favourable wind above six thousand feet.
