A balloon belonging to the Koyal Ai* Force flying school at Lark Hill, whila taking part in divisional manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain today, broke from its mooring cable in a violent gust of wind and drifted 80 miles before the pilot and staff officer on board brought it. safely to earth.
Meanwhile it had been chased by an autogiro, an aeroplane, and motor-cars.
