years. Brown Jack is by Jackdaw, whose sire, ,i sprinter named Thrush, was by Missel Thrush, the sire of the grandam of Theo. Brown Jack, like Theo, is out of a daughter of Kroonstad. The dam of Mirabelle II was a half-sister to All Black, the sire of those brilliant mares Desert Gold and Maid of the Miat. What a real stayer's pedigree is indeed encompassed in these lines!
