Tallow Sales.—7o4 casks were offered and 95 were sold. The market is unchanged. ' "',„„, Quotations: Mutton, fine 22s 6d per cwt, medium 19s; beef, fine 21s 9d. medium 18s 6d.
The Bank of Xew Zealand, produce department, has received' the. following advice from its London office, under date October 24:—Tallow: There is only a poor demand. Current quotations: Good mutton 21s to 21s 6d per ewt; good, beef; 20s 6d to 21s; R«od mixed, 20s 6cl to 21s; gut, 16s 6d to 18s 6d.
