MOTUEKA HARBOUR POLL

NELSON, October .25.
Yesterday a poll of ratepayers waa taken on the Motueka Harbour Board's proposal to raise a special loan of £11,000 for the purpose of restoring and improving tho entrance to the Motueka Harbour. As indicated by tho following returns from nine out of twelve oolling booths tho proposal has been rejected by an overwhelming majority:—
