SHOT HIMSELF IN CHEST

CIIBISTCHUJK'H, October 24,

Frederick William Meyer, aged 47 years) a farmer of Ludbrooks, committed suicide oarly this morning by shooting himself in tho chest with a gun. He got up at 5 a.m. as usual and went out. When he failed to come in to breakfast a search was made, and the body was found behind a haystack. There was a shotgun wound through tho chest when the body was discovered shortly before 10 o'clock. lie had been in a 'depressed state of mind for some time.

An inquest was opened in the evening before Mr. H. P. Lawry, Coroner. The Coroner found that Meyer had died from a gunshot wound in the chest selfinflicted while in a depressed state of mind.
