Tho antieyclono responsible for tho pleasant conditions of the past few days lias remained practically stationary over the New Zealand area. A few isolated light showers havo fallen in tho western and far southern portions of the South Island, but otherwiso the weather lias been fine generally with light to moderate and variable wiiids.
