HALF-YEARLY ALLOCATIONS

The late Sir Charles Perrin Skcrrett by his will set aside a portion of his estate with directions to tho trustees to invest it and, subject to certain directions, to apply the income to such educational charities in Now Zealand as they might think fit. At a recent meeting of the trustees (Miss M. Skerrott, the Hon. Mr. Justice Johnston, and Mr. L>. (t. A. Cooper), the ninth half-yearly allocation of income was made as follows: —Seatoun Boys' Preparatory School, £10; Holy Name School. Cumberland Street, Dunedin. £12; Hastings Convent, £21; Palincrston North Convent, £10; Napier Convent. £21; St. Anne's Primary School, £10: Marist Bros' Primary School, Hawkestoiie Street, £10; Salvation Army, Wellington, £9; Wellington Tree Kindergarten, &8; ' Anglican Boys' Home, £9; St. Mary's Home, £12; Presbyterian Social Service, £9.
