The danger of seeking to apply untried and experimental -remedies to economic or industrial cases is pointed out i" the annual report of the New Zealand Employers' Federation. The strict limits to the practical success of such schemes should be fully recognised, it is urged. Although ifri.ight bo possible to find justification for a subsidy in certain special cases. _ a number of gravo fundamental objc.v tions to such subsidies are outlined.
