MELBOURNE, October 23. I Parmentier and Moll, in the Dutch Douglas airliner, who reached Charleville at 6.30 p.m., left at 8 p.m. on the last hop to Melbourne. Prior to his. departure from Darwin, Parmentier said;—'"Scott is a great sport. I like him very much. I wish him the best of luck. I have no doubt he will make Melbourne and win the race," Frattlein Thea Rasche,. one of the passengers, red-cheeked and plump, talked freely in halting English throughout the meal, Sho said: "I claim I was the first woman pilot and sea flyer in Germany aiter the war. I love flying. I cannot afford an aeroplane, but am taking this flight for compensation." Senor Dominique, another passenger, said: "I have come all the way from Rio do Janeiro.
