"The Broken Melody,"' which, with its great human story, 'its world-famous melody beautifully sung- by John Garrick,' and' its excellent interpretation by an excellent cast, which' includes Merle i Oberon and Margot Grahame, will terminate its successful season at the Paramount Theatre tomorrow evening. The big. film, together with the short subjects, and Miss Iris Mason at the organ, provide excellent entertainment. "Two Hearts in Waltz Time," the famous musical comedy stage success which has been played in most European countries with pronounced popularity, will come to the Paramount Theatre on Friday next in elaborate screen form. Produced by Nettlefold-Fogwell at London, and released by British Dominions Films, Ltd.. it. is winning laurels everywhere. British producers ' have won : many . successes in the musical comedy field, but' the critics affirm that "Two Hearts in Waltz Time" is the best of all. The star, Carl Brieson.was the big hit of the playon the London stage,- and several others associated with him are in the screen east. Frances Day. a npweomer with everything in her favour, is prima donna. The piece is studded with sparkling songs: "Give Her a Little Kiss," "For Love of Yon." '"Wo Hate the Men,'" "Two Hearts in Waltzing Time." ,Cnrl, Brisson introduces a unique novelty in which he sings a duet with himself and proves himself an extra brilliant pianist. Oscar Asche is the impresario, and he appears to special advantage.
