FIRE AT EASTBOURNE
A faulty oven caused fire to break out in the Star Bakery, owned by Mrs. McFar-. lane, in Muritai Road, Eastbourne, yesterday afternoon, but prompt work by the local fire brigade confined the damage to the vicinity of the oven. The extent o£ the damage is estimated at £20. The buildin? is insured for £450, and the contents for £200, in'the Norwich: Union Office.
