LABOUR DAY TOURNEYS
The weather conditions remained perfect for the continuation yesterday afternoon of the Labour Day tournament conducted by the Seatoun Bowling Club. A Hataitai rink, skipped by Brighting, were the winners. The following were the results after "The Post", went to press: — SECTION A. Fourth Hound. —Glennie beat Higgius, 8-4; Howse beat Wearne, 9-7; England beat Warwick, 16-6. Fifth round: Howse beat Glennie, 12-5; Warwick beat Higgius, 11-0; England beat Wearne, 12-7. SECTION B. Fourth Round. —Tullett beat AVebb, 11-4; Shannon beat Smith, 16-1; Brighting beat Goodwin, 11-6; Woollcy beat McNabb, 12-3. Fifth Round.—Smith beat McNabb, 16-7, Woolley beat Tullett, 14-12; Goodwin beat Shannon, 10-8; Brighting beat Webb, 9-5. " FINAL. In. the final Hataitai (Bennett, Taylor, Cometti, Brighting) beat Lyall Bay (Hazlewood, Reid, Bradley, Howse, G-5, after an extra head had been played.
