Mr. William Board, of Oakley, one of Bedfordshire's dry villages, has discovered water-divining powers at the age of 82. A plentiful supply of water has been found, at a depth of ISft, in a well sunk on a site selected by Mr. Beard witl) the aid of n hazel twig.
