HAUPTMANN TO BE TRIED
NEW YORK, October 19.
Hauptmarm's legal manoeuvring to oscapo trial for tho Lindbergh baby murder proved futile tonight, when tho Appeal Court upheld the Lower Court's dismissal of a habeas corpus writ. Hauptinann was immediately-taken to Flemington, New Jersey, where the trial will bo held next month.
