MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Cases in the Magistrate's Court today were dealt with by Messrs. D. H. Edgar and T. Coltman, J.P.s.
John Richard Rosedale Ryder, agod 34, a labourer, was fined £1 for a second statutory offence of drunkenness. Pleading guilty to fighting with each other in Garrett Street, Michael O'Donogbue, aged 39, a painter, and Ernest Edrick Everitt, aged 38, a labourer, were each fined £2.
Arrested by Detective H. E. Campin yesterday morning, Hugh Rupert. Austin, aged 20, a musician, was remanded to appear on October 29 on a charge of breaking and entering the warehouse of Symingtons (N.Z.), Ltd., and stealing a pair of corsets, an electric iron, and four electric •lobes, valued at £1 lls.
