LABOUR DAY MATCHES

Several of the local :cricket clubs' have arranged, special* matches'for Monday (Labour Day). Some teams.will be going out of town and others will be playing on local reserves. Kilbirnie and Stop Out teams will be meeting Manawatu teams at Palmerstoh North, Mr. A. J. Phillipps being in charge of the Kilbirnie team and Mr. McPhee in charge of the Stop Out team.

A match between teams from Rongotai College and Kilbirnie is to be played on the Kilbirnie Reserve, commencing at 10 a.m. The Kilbirnie team is: R. Allen, A. Ashenden, Askew, Bromley, Davison, Christophersen, AY. Gray, Minifie, Reid, Rice, and Wrigley.
