FOUR-EYED SPARROW

The research department of Vienna University has received a remarkable addition to its vivarium. It is a foureyed sparrow, found by a Berehtoldsdorf landowner on his estate. The bird is believed to be a unique specimen. There is no record of a sparrow similarly endowed to be found in any scientific work. To the non-scientist the thought occurs that if one understood bird language sufficiently to interview the'four-eyed freak a new light might be thrown on the expression "a bird's-eye view." ~,
