NEW ZEALANDERS IN SYDNEY;

(Received October 20, 2 p.m.)

SYDNEY, This Day. Tho New Zealand schoolboy athlete* who are to compete in the Intra-Empire Centenary Sports, arrived by the Makura, all in good condition. They were tendered a luncheon by the Lord Mayor of Sydney today and proceed to Melbourne tonight.

The Woolston Band, which is to par; ticipate in band contests during the Centenary celebrations, also arrived by; the Makura. They are to play at Manly tomorrow and leave for Ballarat tomorrow night.

Both boys and band were met and welcomed by Mr. L. J. Sehmitt, New; Zealand Trado Commissioner.
