Results are as follows: —■ SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. Quarter-final.—Miss U. James beat Mrs. Birch, 7 and 5; Miss J. Hornabrook beat Miss P. Lowes, 4 and 2; Mrs. Homer beat Miss A. Perry, 5 and 4; Mrs. J. MID-CANTERBURY JUNIOR TITLE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, October 18. Mrs. J. L. Ferrier, Timaru, 98, 91—189, and Miss K. Dobson, Christchurch, 96, 96 —192, were winner and runner-up respectively of the junior title in the Mid-Can-terbury women's golf tourney. . LOCAITCLUBS SHAN DON LADIES' CLUB A medal round will be played by the Shandon Ladies' Golf Club this weekend, players arranging their own partners. The first round of the championship must be completed this, weekend. A one-day tournament will be held on Monday, when lady golfers from other clubs are invited. The second bogey competition was won by W. Lindop (16), 8 up, with T. J. Harvey (15) 1 up and H. Keene 1 down. R. K. Hunter and W. F. Gill won a fourball event. In the semi-final of the senior-junior foursomes G. F. Hogg and R. Jameson beat H. Keene and A. P. Smith 1 up, and W. B. Reilly and H. Williamson beat L. Marsden anil H. Hogan 1 up.
