ARCHBISHOP OF SYDNEY

The Archbishop of Sydney, tho Et. Kcv. Dr. Mowll, will arrive at Wellington by "the "Wanganella on October 23 primarily to assist in the consecration of Canon Hilliard, Bishop-elect of Nelson, on' October .28. He will bo accompanied by Mrs. Mowll and Archdeacon Johnstonc, rector of St. John s Church, Parramatta, which was Samuel Marsden's parish. Dr. Mowll, who was Bishop of West China before he accepted tho bishopric of Sydney fifteen months ago, passed through New Zealand, in 1931 on his return to China after a visit to Great Britain. During his coming trip to New Zealand he will take the opportunity of addressing numerous meetings in the main centres. Immediately on his arrival he will leave for the South Island and will be in Dunedin on October 24, Christchureh oil- October 25, Blenheim on October 26, arid' Nelson on October 27, 28, and 2<9."i:Dr. Mowll will then proceed to Napier,. where he is due to arrive on October.--.30.
