Upoko Ariki and Nightly, moving freely, went a mile in lmin 471 sec, the last half-mile taking 51sec. Shatter and Gladswood went six furlongs in lmin 18£ sec, Eogilla did ten furlongs comfortably in 2nun 19sec. Homer and Sir John went three furlongs in 38Jsec. Lough' Ncagh did a mile in lmiu 48sec. ■'■■■■
Miss Nottava and Tufbrnt went sis furlongs in linin 19see. Vauntry did five furlongs in linin 4Jsec. On the steeples grass Valrose went six furlongs in lmin 19sec, and Stroperus and Flail a mile in imin.'SOsec. Oro is under veterinary care. At Flemington, on the course proper, Peter Pan, Journal, and Sarcherie," finishing in that order, went a mile in lmiu 47isee. Theo did 10 furlongs comfortably in 2min 25sec, and Chatham seven in lmin 34Jsec. Broad Arrow did a concluding five furlongs in lmin lOsec. Shadow King went nine furlongs in 2min 12,} sec, and Master Brierley half a mile in 54sec. Burlesque beat Phenomenon over five furlongs in lmin 4Jsec. i Sylvandale and Vista went five, furlongs in lmin ssec, and Teak three in 39} sec. On the grass Tophole beat Barrier King over seven furlongs in lmin 33J sec. Gaystar went ten furlongs in 2miu 23sec, the last six, with Bonsant, in lmin 19* sec. . Treyford did the best ten furlongs, taking 2min 12Jsec.
