SYDNEY, This Day. In the Legislative Assembly atten* tion was directed to the New Zealand, proposal to introduce legislation for the establishment of a National Mortgagees' Corporation. The Premier (Mr. B. S. Stevens) said that the Stato Government intended to introduce legislation to establish means to deal with, mortgages as between debtor and creditor. Mr. Stevens added that the ques» tion was being considered in the light not only of the New Zealand proposals, but also of suggestions made by} a Departmental Committee and propo-: sals emanating from other countries.
