PARIS, October 16.
The "Daily Mail's" Berlin correspondent says: "He was a great Frenchman, but ho hated Germany," sums up Press comment on M. Poineare's death. The chief Nazi organ states: "He devoted his life to the idea of taking revenge on Germany." M. Poinearu was a comparatively poor man. ITc died suddenly in the presence of his family and friends. He will be accorded a. national funeral on October 20. The shock of tlie assassination is believed to have hastened his dcnih. King George sent a message of sympathy.
